Veterans Day Gifts: Engraved Wallets for Those Who Served
Veterans Day is Wednesday, November 11. It is a day to thank the people who served, and a lot of families like to mark it with something small and personal for the veteran in their life.
An engraved wallet is a gift that gets carried every day. Here is how to pick a branch design, add a name, or engrave something more personal, and how to make sure it arrives in time.
A design for every branch
We have a design for each branch of the military, all available in our wallet builder:

- Seabees, for the Navy’s construction battalions
There is also Veteran Eagle Flag, a good choice when you want to honor someone’s service as a veteran rather than a single branch, or when a family has veterans from more than one.
The military designs work both ways. You can choose Landscape, with the wallet held wide, or our new Portrait orientation, where the wallet stands upright. The price is the same either way, and the live preview in the builder shows you exactly how the design looks on the color you pick.
Pick a color that fits
Our metal wallets come in black, blue, bright green, army green, red, wine red, pink, purple, orange and titanium finish. Some people match the branch, like blue for the Navy or army green for the Army. Others just pick the color the veteran likes best. The laser removes the colored surface and shows the bright metal underneath, so the design comes out bright white on any color, and it won’t peel or rub off.

Add a name on the cash clip
Every wallet has a black cash clip, and name engraving on the clip is free and optional. Add it at checkout in the builder. A last name, a first name, initials or a rank and name all work well. It turns a branch design into a gift that belongs to one person.
The wallet itself is aluminum with RFID blocking, holds 2 to 15 cards, and has the cash clip for bills. It is slim enough for a front pocket. Our standard engraved wallets are $50.
Make it personal with the Custom Image wallet
Some veterans are proudest of a specific unit, ship or squadron. If that is the case, our Custom Image Metal Wallet lets you upload your own logo, artwork, drawing or handwriting, and we engrave it. It is $50 to $55. A few ideas:
- A unit emblem or patch
- Their handwriting from an old letter home
- A drawing from a grandchild
Send the clearest, highest-resolution image you have. Simple images with strong lines engrave best.

Getting it in time for November 11
Every wallet is engraved in our shop in Redmond, Oregon, and online orders ship within 48 hours. Delivery time after that depends on where it is going, so the earlier you order, the more breathing room you have before Veterans Day.
